FENG SHUI TIPS ON OFFICE

Many of you are wondering whether is it possible to enhance the Feng Shui of your workplace, especially when you’re working in a cubicle where the position of the office desk and chair placement is fixed. I could provide some easy remedies to enhance the Feng Shui of your workplace, however, these are just some basic remedies. 

The effectiveness of the Feng Shui energy is very much depending on the Feng Shui of the whole building.

Firstly, you should acknowledge that everything around you influences your personal energy, and that includes the surrounding of your workplace. Make sure that your workplace has a clear

boundary. It allows the energy to flow fluently.

To improve the Feng Shui of your work space:

1. Avoid placing objects on your table that could cause your place to be congested to allow a better flow of energy. Keep your table as clean as possible to avoid negative energy. Do not hang wind chimes above you or on your table.

2. Do not sit under a beam.

3. Avoid sitting facing the bad Qi from sharp angles (such as table corners, concretes or beam pillars, cabinets/cupboard angles etc).

4. Avoid placing a prism on your desk. Its slanting angles will direct bad energy to your surrounding colleagues and causing them to have bad feeling towards you.

5. Avoid sitting and using shaky chairs and desks which are not giving you any support. It will cause backstabbing and reduce your luck and success.

MAKE SURE:

1. If you are sitting with your back facing the door, find a way to see the office entrance. You may

    place a photo frame on your table with a picture of happy moments.

2. Make sure that there is enough room for you to move freely without hurting your knees or legs

    when you stand up.

3. Make sure you are facing a good or positive direction and at a good sector.

4. You may also place a small potted plant on your table to provide energy in your space.

FENG SHUI OF ARCHWAYS

We had seen a lot of countries and places with archways. Do these Archways had anything to do with Feng Shui? The answer is YES.

What is an archway?

1. An archway is a doorway/gateway having a curved head. An archway can be situated at the entrance of a village/city/town. The Feng Shui of the archway is important as it could influence the Feng Shui of the whole village/city

   

2. The archway can be situated at the entrance of a house. Many do not know that the archway of houses could influence the Feng Shui of the occupants.

The location of archways is one of the important criteria that should be considered in the study of Feng Shui.

An archway cannot be simply built because it will affect the luck, wealth and descendants of the villagers. Wrongly structured archway may cause endless trouble to the whole village.

   

These are the 5 points that you have to take note and adhere to.

1. The arch way must be situated in a good and prosperous sector.

It is very important that a prosperous location is chosen because only then, the village will benefit from it. They will gain better wealth, becoming more successful economically and it will benefit all the villagers in the sense of having better health and being able to have a successful and powerful future.

Just like building a temple in the village, it also needs to have good Feng Shui. As much as humans need good Feng Shui, this applies to the Gods too. If the Feng Shui of the temple in the village is good, the villagers will be blessed and benefited by it.

If constructed in a bad sector, the villagers will be in trouble. They will face bad economy, the

villagers will become jobless and they will not have the chance to be successful.

2. The structure of the archway must be stable and though.

If the appearance of the archway does not look stable, it signifies that the foundation of the archway is not strong. This will cause the villagers to be unable to stand out. They will not gain success or power.

The archway must be made with good quality materials. The steel have to be strong. It is advisable to use steel instead of wood to prevent the archway from tumbling down.

3. The name board on the archway

The name board on the archway must be broad and prominent. You may use the traditional chinese characters for the wordings. The board should be tightly sealed to the archway.

4. Select a good time and date.

Choose a good time and date for an opening ceremony for the archway and to bless it by a master. Selecting a good time and date will bring good luck and success to its villagers.

5. Place stone lions at the sides of the archway

Placing the stone lions at the sides of the archway can protect the village from harzardous energies. However, there are some who misunderstood the position of the stone lions. They wrongly placed the stone lions behind the archway instead of the front. If the archway is facing the negative energies, the stone lions could not protect the villagers. The village will be in jeopardy. The stone lions have to be blessed to activate its power.

 

Other than these, bear in mind that the house door should not directly face the archway. It will bring danger to the occupants particularly to the elderly.

It will cause sickness and bad luck.

Plant some trees to protect your home from the killing energies. 

This remedy may only protect you from the negative energies but it may not bring you good wealth or good luck.   

Your sleeping position should not face the archway directly to avoid absorbing negative energy from the archway. Put a takrut in front of your door to reduce the negative energy if your door is facing towards the archway.

IMPORTANCE OF BEING GRATEFUL TO OUR PARENTS

Our parents gave us life. They caressed, sheltered, and guided us. Their care and love for us started in the embryonic state long before we were born.

Our parents have a natural loving mind toward us. They care for us in every single aspect. When we are sick, our parents will be very worried and wake up early or stay up late to take care of us. We eat hearty meals at the expense of their

nutrition, have sweet dreams at the sacrifice of their sleep, and enjoy good health to the detriment of their health.

They cut their personal needs to satisfy ours. They have always given us words of encouragements and motivate us and have always been there by our side supporting us during our failures till we’ve succeed. Their love is unselfish, wholehearted and everlasting.

Have we ever tried recalling everything that they have done and sacrificed for us? We are greatly indebted to our parents. Take a moment to recall everything that they have done for us.  It is important to repay their gracious sacrifices and enormous kindness before it is too late.

Many youngsters had grown up by taking full advantage of their parents’ kindness and ignored them whenever they had achieved their goals. Often, they were all too preoccupied with their lives would use that as a reason to leave their parents abandoned. They never pay their parents a visit or even take their time to talk and to care about them. Some live in big houses but they send their parents to the old folk‘s home without visiting them. During festivals, they never try making and effort to go home to visit their parents. Some disrespect their parents by scolding them with mean and hurtful words.

Their acts were not just selfish but they’re ungrateful as well. They never thought of how

disappointed their parents were going to be and how the way they acted could hurt their parents. Being an ungrateful child does not only determine their character but they’re showing a bad example to their own children and they will be despised by their neighbours and friends as well. They will not get good merits in life and they might be treated the same way when they grow old by their own children!

Master Stanley Tham therefore gives the following advices:

1. We should all appreciate our parents and spend more time with them. Take some time off daily and find some topic to chat with them or to encourage them to chat with you in order to help them fill their free time and make them realize that they are still important to us and we still love them. Don’t let them feel lonely. Always remind yourself of what your parents had sacrificed for you and always consider their feelings. On their birthdays, take some time off from your hectic schedule to spend time with them. Bring them out for family dinner. At home, together with your children, kneel before them with a cup of tea and wish them with auspicious words. Without them, you would not be who you are today.

2. On Chinese New Year morning, it is a tradition for the children to wake up early and kneel before their parents with a cup of tea and wish them with a few auspicious words before receiving red packets from their parents. This tradition signifies a way of respecting their parents that should be practised by everyone. It is always a good beginning to train our children to practice those routines and start educating them from young.

3. Teach your children to respect, love and care for their grandparents. Let them learn how to take care of their grandparents and always place importance in their grandparents’ needs and wants.

4. Take some time off and bring your parents for a vacation or bring them out to the nearest field to enjoy some fresh air. Let them enjoy themselves and feel blessed at their prime of life. Show them your appreciations and love. Take good care of them and always make them happy. Do not simply send them away to the homes for the aged when you have a house large enough to accommodate them and you can afford to employ a nurse to take care of them.

Master Tham had gone to various places and met various people. He had noticed how good or bad certain people treated their parents. He wanted to share one good example with his readers. Mr Ng is one of the good examples!

Mr Ng and his family discovered a crack on the tombstone during Ching Ming when the whole family went to clean the grave. They consulted Master Tham about it and had invited him to investigate the Feng Shui of the grave. When Master Tham was investigating the Feng Shui of Mr Ng’s mother’s grave, he was very surprised because normally only the cement of the around graveyard and the tombstone will crack but not the tombstone itself which is made from hard and solid rock.

During the investigation, Master Tham had found out that the grave was facing an extremely bad direction. Its bad Chi could cause serious mishaps such as death to the family and especially to the eldest son. The badly erected grave and wrongly placed tombstone will affect the family to remain poor. Feng Shui of the grave should be remedied immediately to prevent any unwanted occurence.

Master Tham had then found out that Ng and his family were very filial. The mother was paralyzed quite some time before she passed away. Mr Ng’s wife and his children had taken very good care of her. They fed her food before eating theirs. They bathed her, cleaned her and did all the house chores without complain till her last breath.

 Since they were so filial, the Heaven and the spirit of the mother gave them a sign (cracking of the tombstone) about the need to remedy the Feng Shui of the grave and at the same time, Ng had heard of Master Stanley Tham’s in-depth genuine Feng Shui skills in remedying Yin and Yang Feng Shui and all these do not happen coincidentally.

Two months after Master Tham had carefully done the remedial actions to the Feng Shui of the grave, Ng’s son was promoted and he was sent to Switzerland for a company training. His also had an increment. His daughter had completed her studies and had found a good job with good pay. Mr Ng has no longer need to serve as a contract labourer. He has now retired with his wife enjoying their prime of life. The whole family is blessed with good health and happiness.

International Feng Shui Master Tham in Austria

FENG SHUI OF MOZART'S BIRTHPLACE AND HOME, SALZBURG, AUSTRIA

The Birthplace of Mozart in Salzburg, Austria.

Everyone has heard of Mozart, the famous musician. His early death had left many people in surprise of why such talented musician would die at such a young age. At the age of 5, he started composing songs and could play music flawlessly. He had composed over 600 works had been performing before the European royalty. He had travelled a lot to search for a better position. He chose to stay at the capital where he achieved fame but however, he had always faced financial strains. Finally he passed away at the age of 35. The cause of his death could not be known with certainty. However, it was widely believed the he had suffered from acute rheumatic fever.

Master Tham is very devoted in his work. He had travelled around the world to do some of his own research on the Feng Shui of famous landmarks and to find out the cause behind the rise and fall of these landmarks. During his trip to Austria, he had taken this opportunity to visit Mozart’s former residence in 9 Getreidegasse, Salzburg. It is the place where the famous movie “The Sound of Music” is filmed in remembrance of Mozart.

According to him, Mozart’s house was situated in an inauspicious location. He further commented that although there are a lot of wealthy, famous and talented people in the world, without the presence of Feng Shui, not every one of them could be living in a good and happy life. Many of them are suffering in silence, unsatisfied with their life, feeling lonely and have depressions. There may be a lot of unfortunate events in their lives such as having death in their family members, facing various problems or suffering from health problems and living in a disharmony environment. Some only get famous after they’re dead.

Through Master Tham’s research, he had found out these 3 following factors:

1. The place where Mozart stayed was facing at the wrong direction.

Mozart’s house was facing a bad direction that direct negative Qi to his house. In that sector, the occupants may have talent but they will not be enjoying good wealth or health. Mozart could not achieve success and was often faced with financial distress. He was always sick too.

2. There’s a huge wall blocking the view out from the house.

Mozart’s house is situated only on a small alley. The occupants will not be enjoying good future and there will be a lot of obstacles in everything they do. Without Feng Shui in that location, no matter how hard the occupant works, they will not be able to earn money and there will always be an outflow of money. Their children will not succeed in life. In Feng Shui, this is a sign that the occupants will suffer from sickness and accidents. This is why Mozart had lots of sickness before he passed away. Master Tham had therefore advised the residents in Malaysia to make sure that you can get a view of the sky from your house.

3. The staircase is very narrow.

Mozart and his family stayed in the first floor. They have to go through this very narrow ladder to their house. Narrow ladders will pull back the occupants’ success and they could not find the opportunity to shine. Due to the poor Feng Shui of the house, 5 of Mozart’s siblings died from sickness.

Bedroom Feng Shui Tips

YOUR IDEAL BEDROOM

Your bedroom is one of the most important area in your house. Getting enough sleep you’ll be feeling more energetic in everything you do and you’ll be more healthy, free from stress, gaining more success and wealth and having better relationship with your spouse. However, in order to have a good sleep you are required to have a good Feng Shui environment to have positive Qi in your room.  In this year Feng Shui tips, Master Tham is pleased to share a few tips on getting a good Feng Shui for your bedroom.

1. Ensure that the path to your room is free from things so that you can walk freely.  This will ensure good Qi in flowing in.

2. For the location and sector of your bedroom, please refer to our 9 Flying Star Chart.

3. Do not place too many things in your room. Make sure that your room is always tidy and let the sun shine into your room.

4. Avoid putting a lot of electrical appliances into your room because they will give out radiation that will be bad for your health.

 5.  Avoid putting statues, paintings or artworks of fierce creatures/animals that have sharp claws, horns or fangs as they will create bad Qi to the occupants of the room.

 6. Avoid rooms with pipes and beam above your room or above your head. If there are pipes on your beam, cover them.

 7. Make sure that your mattresses are in good condition. Change them if they’re old or at least, change a new bed sheet! You will receive new positive Qi for yourself.

 8. Make sure that your bed doesn’t face the bathroom or toilet it will bring bad Qi to the occupants.

 9. Avoid having corners of your walls, doors, cupboards or even dressing tables facing your bed. These corners will bring about killing Qi that will cause you to have health problems or sleeping disorders and bad luck.

 10. Do not sleep under the beam of your room.

 11. Remove all naked pictures in your room as these pictures will strain the relationship between you and your spouse.

12. Do not place plants with thorns in your room.

13. Make sure that your room is not situated under the staircase/toilets.

14. Do not position your bed underneath the air conditioner or lamps.

It should be noted that these tips are only general practice and will not encompass the maximization of effective Feng Shui. An effective Feng Shui must take into account a number of factors such as compatibility of life charts in relate to location, geographical Feng Shui features, environment and all these could only be done by a genuine Feng Shui expert on the site using a Luo Pan. Bad Chi needed to be avoided and good Chi needed to be absorbed.
